Remember the king of Sparta in "300?" I'm trying to find a compromise between hubby's insistence on elaborate names, and my preference for practical names.

I think it’s a great name! For some it might be a bit difficult to pronounce but it is a strong boy name and I think it’ll fit great

As far as compromises go, I think it’s a good one. It’s a little out there on the whole, but has a “normal” nickname.

If you’ve got a Greek last name I think it works. There is actually a student in my school names Leonidas with an accompanying Greek last name. Otherwise I would just stick with Leo(nardo).
