TTC after Hysterosalpingogram

lovelyLady

Hello, Glow family I'm a mother of 6 beautiful children ( 26,23,20,18,16,8) and 2 grandbabies but only 3 is home and the 18yo is leaving soon 😥. I'll be 44 on Sunday and I'm TTC again. I sometimes wonder if people will feel as if she already has 6 but I have never wanted another baby more than I want one now that doctors are telling me I'm past the childbearing age but I feel so healthy 😞. Seven years ago I became very ill and suffered a ruptured brain aneurysm by the grace of God I am here and alive to tell this story. Doctors gave me a slim chance of waking up with full mobility or wasn't even sure if I would wake up but what they were certain of was that I survived something most people die from and that they found 2 other aneurysms that would need attention and that I WAS PREGNANT😨😨😨😨. I woke up a few days later but was in and out of sleep and unable to make decisions so my proxy which is my husband made all decisions for me. To make this long story short, the baby had to be terminated due to the severity of my injury and any stress to me could possibly kill me. So he terminated and was advised to put an IUD in and my husband complied. Fast forward to 2018, all my aneurysms are fixed and have healed great and I was given the ok to remove my IUD and begin trying after seeing a high-risk specialist who told me that I was past the childbearing age but should try for a year 😭. Here we are present day and I have been trying since October 2018, so went back to the doctor and she sent me for a Hysterosalpingogram on the 25th to make sure my tubes were not blocked and all looks great, so I'm wondering has anyone over 40 that has had this procedure gotten pregnant after and if so how long did it take. Baby Dust to all TTC 😊
