Late walkers?

Anyone have late a walker? My boy will walk holding on to anything and everything but just doesn't want to let go!

Mine didn't really only started walking on his own until 2 weeks ago. My first was 16 almost 17 months.
I've heard the longer they crawl the better. I wouldn't be concerned.

Yes! My daughter just turned 15 months and not yet walking, she’s a pro crawler and climber though! 😂

Same. He’s a cruiser and a crawler he will take 3-4 steps alone max if he has a landing zone to grab. But he doesn’t independently walk he defaults to crawling it’s faster

Same here! My son is 15.5 months and does the same thing as your son as well as some of the other little ones mentioned above. My neighbor who is a physical therapist said that crawling longer does help strengthen their hip muscles and will result in less issues in the future (such as when they are 7-8 years old).

My daughter turned 15 months today and isn't walking. She also had a doctor's appointment today and her pediatrician wasn't concerned especially since she's climbing and crawling like a professional lol.

My has Son has taken his first steps and the first week loved showing out... no refuses to walk on his own. I’m not pushing him b/c I know if he wants something bad enough he will just walk to it (hoping/crossing fingers), but at the same time not mad I don’t have to chase him all around yet
