So, my husband and I announced our pregnancy a couple of weeks ago at 16 weeks preggo to my MIL. Anyway, a comment has been bugging me and I just want to see if it’s my hormones or she was just being rude. So, she and I were just standing there and I asked if she notices a pooch. We haven’t seen her since Christmas so I assumed she’d say yes because I clearly have one. I was just making conversation. And she clearly was upset that we are having another boy, she was hoping for her first and only granddaughter. Anyway, She said, I just see a tummy, I have one too. I was already hurt by her reaction to the sex. So, I reiterated well I am pregnant though, not just fat, thanks.
