I’m confuse

Hey guys I’m super confuse. So there’s this guy and we’re pretty close. But the thing is I have feelings for him. Ik shocker. But I’m not sure if he feels the same. One minute we’ll be hold hands and starring at each other, and laying on each other and the next he’s hitting me (playfully), or calling me nicknames. I understand this what friends do but I’m confuse if he actually likes me. Please give some advice.
