Weird, stupid cycle coming of BC 😒

So, I had my son 18 months ago, and i had a Mirena placed for 6 months, but I had that removed, bc it sucked. We weren’t ready for another kid yet, so I started bcp’s again. I stopped those when we were ready for baby#2 and had a withdrawal bleed on 2/6, and I considered that a start of a new “cycle.”

I didn’t ovulate until CD 39 or 40, and I confirmed it with opks and bbt. But my temps crashed today at 11/12 dpo, and my period just started. Ugh. What’s with the weird short luteal phase? I’m irritated, but at least maybe my body can try to have a normal cycle?

Anyone else have dumb cycles after BC or having a kid? I don’t know what to expect of my body anymore. I’m 33, and my first son took 2 years. I don’t have patience for this crap anymore. I just want my body to behave for once. 😒
