Low progesterone in bloodwork

Hi all,

This is my second pregnancy. I unfortunately had a mmc in October. I just turned 36.

I am about 4w1d and got my bloodwork back today. My hcg looks good... went from 95 to 407 in 72 hours. However my progesterone was only 9.5 and should be around 15. Doctor prescribed prometrium for next 8 weeks. Does anyone have experience with this progesterone therapy?
