I married my high school sweetheart and things lately have been rocky at best. I'm not appreciated and he is generally a very selfish individual. I'm in school getting my doctorate and he does not take my study schedule into consideration when planning outings with friends or blasting this weeks football game. I have a friend who I have been in contact with since high school who treats me much better than my current husband and says I should leave. We fight over the smallest things and he doesn't put forth any effort anymore. He treats me like one of the guys and not like his wife. I'm just at my wits end with the situation.
