Eye Contact ?

My LO definitely makes eye contact, has social smiles , and solicits for attention, but I’ve noticed a decrease in the last 2 weeks in eye contact when I have her on my lap. Beginning to fret over autism ( no family history) Anyone else have this? Am I being a crazy FTM?

She’s probably just distracted and getting interested in the world around her. Happens at this age.

I actually have a toddler who was recently diagnosed with autism. And at 4 months she was perfectly normal. So honestly I wouldn't worry too much about it at this point. He is probably just distracted!

Autism symptoms can usually not be detected until 12-18 months.
