Best baby toys?? 🤷‍♀️

What toys has your baby loved the most? What toys weren’t worth it? I’d like to know what to add to my baby registry for my little boy! Thanks 🙏🏻

My son is 6 months old. He likes shoes, wipe packages, and empty water bottles! 🤣🤦🏻‍♀️

My daughter is 3 months old (tomorrow) and she needs to rotate toys/activities every 15-30 mins or she gets incredibly bored. I have a talking puppy that is supposed to help them learn over 250 words. That’s her favorite, along with a sensory butterfly that has at least 20 different textures on the front of its wings and black/white contrasts on the back. I swear this child is going to be like me and skip grades because the content not challenging enough for her 🙄 
We do a lot of tummy time using those toys and I also get on the floor with her the entire time. I demonstrate how to roll, sit up, etc and help her do it too. Last night she rolled from her tummy to back then immediately rolled back to her tummy all by herself! I cried lol. We’re in the process of moving around the world (again - ugh) and once we get settled I’m going to buy her all kinds of new developmental toys. If you look up “Montessori baby” on Pinterest you can find all kinds of great ideas without spending a lot of money.

Honestly I wouldn’t put too many or really any toys on there. Maybe an activity mat and a few board books you can read. 
My son really didn’t play with baby toys until closer to 1

Crinkle book! Touch n feel book for older. Otherwise just find things around the house. I printed out black &white images for visual stimulation.

DD LOVED: A whozit, an oball, her favorite was a toy called a giggable (but they don't make them anymore). She also liked the Sofia the giraffe teether.

My son has always loved musical instruments and we love the brand Hape. He has the drum, tambourine, and a few others. When he was tiny his favorite toy was Freddie the Firefly by Lamaze and of course his play gym.
