What is the silliest/stupidest breaking point that caused you to break up with someone?

A lot of relationships end in a slow death, some of them with the oddest breaking point! Most of us have found our life-long SOs so I thought it would be fun to look back and laugh.

For me it was because my boyfriend wanted me to buy his gluten free, soy free, dairy free, sugar free, etc free super expensive food and when I said no he threw a fit in the store. I broke up with him on the drive home and he said to me "your breaking up because I want to eat healthy?!" I was like yes. That is EXACTLY it. /s

Long story: my hours had been cut at work and he had gotten a job but instead of helping out (we lived together) he started saving his money for school. We fought all the time and the incident in the store was just the last straw for me.

We didn't break up right when this happened but a bit later. Anyways, I dated this guy who expected me to pay for everything. I called him one night because my Dad had been diagnosed with skin cancer again (he's in remission now) and I was upset. He told me to come over after work, and I agreed. When I got off work and called him, I was in tears, and he told me to bring him Waffle House. I was so dumbfounded that I agreed, what guy asks his girlfriend to bring him food when she's upset about something like that?!?

He constantly used me as a babysitter/dogsitter and was just overly mean. The final straw was when he got angry that I wouldn't come to the college we were both attending, on my day off, so he could borrow my headphones. When I refused, he yelled at me, called me a bitch, and told me to leave him alone because I was being selfish. We broke up later that day. What a dick...

The guy I seriously dated before my husband was such a whiner. We dated through high school and for almost 2 years after. He whined about EVERYTHING. And it was always someone else's fault. One evening we were on the phone and he was whining, no surprise, and all of a sudden I just burst out with "I want us to break up. I don't want to be with you anymore." In the middle of his sentence lol. I was like whoah, where did that come from. Then he proceeded to cry, told me he was coming over. I said no, I'm done. Forgot to lock the damn door and of course he pops in my house like 15 mins later. Then it took 20 mins for him to stop crying and leave. And he thought I was just going through a phase. He would call me like we were dating, drop by my work and say he was taking me to lunch. I was like no! We are broke up! Stop calling! It took me starting to date my husband and handing the phone to him to answer every time my ex called (for 3 months) before he finally got it.

He accused me of cheating with my brother after I chose to go out with my brother than stay on the phone with him. I laughed and just hung up. He kept calling and apologizing, but I was so disgusted that that would even cross his mind.

My brother and I are still happily close siblings with his wife and my husband now added to the mix and that guy is an Ex lol

Can I just make a list? They were all stupid.
Luke- he was hitting on the waitress, and she left her number on the receipt, and he called her later that night while we were still out, I overheard as I was walking out of the bathroom.
Cody- felt up my little sister/bestie.
Ben- I asked if he liked me or his jeep better- he said the jeep.
Brock- I got in a wreck on the way to see him, he broke up with me cause I never showed.
Landon- our youth pastor sat us down and told us we couldn't date each other right after our first date.
Brayden- said he liked a 14 year old. We were 17 &18 at the time.
John- my girlfriend caught him making out with a fake blonde with bad roots in the bed of his truck.
Jay- we were high and he wanted the last piece of red velvet cake that I was halfway finished eating.
Landon(again)- wasn't sure if he wanted to marry me in five or six years. I then dated his best friend to get over him.... And make sure we never got back together
Cole- leaving for New York, said I was the girl he wanted to marry, that he would call me his junior year and propose, but he wanted to date a few more people first( wtf)
David- he drove a bmw, had a small 🍆, and had a threesome with a guy and a girl while away at college. We weren't even having sex.
Zak- "I'm taking a year off of dating to get closer to God, I want you to wait for me but I'm not going to talk to you. But I am going to lead on this other girl who has a huge crush on me. Who also happens to be your childhood best friends sister."

Thank god I finally found the one.

My very first "real" boyfriend was when I was in 7th grade and I broke up with home because....he smelled like chicken. I know it sounds really stupid but he smelled weird and I couldn't handle it. But my cousin also saw me kids him in the lunchroom(on the cheek) and she told my aunt that we were making out and she told my mom so her told me to break it off anyway so I had a better excuse to use then telling him he stunk. I always felt bad for that and whatever that smell was he grew out of it but we never got back together and he passed away at 18
