I normally don't air out my dirty laundry online, but I need to vent. It seems I am constantly watching my son alone even when my husband is home. Don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to get out of my duty as mother, but sometimes it would be nice if I had a break for a few minutes. My husband, after work will often times spend a good chunk of time playing on his xbox (after I've spent all day with baby) while I'm still downstairs watching him. Or on his day off, he will be staring at his phone all day long (and I'm so excited that it's football and fantasy season) and I'm still watching the baby... Alone... And my son does not like to be put down which makes it harder... and once in a while if I ask him to do something, he will huff and puff. He is good with a lot of things; I'm not trying to say he's terrible, in the middle of the night, he changes his diaper... But I'd like one freaking minute to myself! There's laundry to do and a house to clean (but he won't do any of that without being asked to help) and I can't do it while tending to a screaming baby. Any suggestions? I'm about to blow up.
