Fighting
Long Post - I apologize in advance.
I don’t have anyone else to talk to about everything going on so I figured I would post it here on anon. I’m the type of person who doesn’t like confrontation and maybe a little don’t like being held responsible for my actions and I know I should own up. My fiancé and I were talking yesterday about what jobs he’s applied to (he just lost his job/ they laid off a bunch of people. His job wasn’t that great anyway). And anyway he mentioned this one that sounded too good to be true, so I looked them up and it was clear they were a scam. Told him to steer clear and not apply to anything before he looked them up online and saw if they had extra accounts like a Twitter, LinkedIn, etc and if they did, did it look legit. He says he already applied while I was doing research on them and what’s done is done. He is constantly like this, constantly not listening to my warnings and advice because he thinks he knows so much (mind you I’m four years older than he, and have had many more jobs as well). He messages me maybe two hours later and says “haha they were a scam” and didn’t give me anymore information than that. Am I not justified to be angry with him for being so naive? And so nonchalant about it too? I messaged back saying I told you so basically and that next time he should listen to me. He immediately gets defensive and rude with me. So I say goodnight and that no I’m not going to sleep but that I am simply saying goodnight to him and that I don’t want to have this conversation or fight with him. This was more than 12 hours ago and he hasn’t messaged or called me since. Usually he messaged me every few hours, usually we can every night and fall asleep while on the phone with each other. None of that happened and now I’m at work and refuse to be the first one to call or text. I’m always the one apologizing and it doesn’t seem fair this time around.
