Anyone getting Tube ties??

Question

I will, 
 this will be my 4th baby, I’m 28yo I’m 100% sure this is my last, 
  I’m having it done as soon as I deliver my baby but I have questions? 
  🙄 what if I don’t want an epidural and want a natural birth, will I have the full anesthesia or do I have to get the epidural? Or will they give me one for the tube tie? 
  I’m having a vaginal delivery. 
 Does it hurt 😞?
 will I be able to breastfeed? 
 
I asked my doctor but she only gave me info on paper and don’t answer my questions 🙄 😓
If anyone knows please let me know 😊 thank you 🙏

From what I've heard, I'd you do a vaginal delivery, you have to go back in xx amount of weeks to get them tied. If you do c section, they'll tie them during delivery. I could be wrong, but that's just what I've heard

Yes I believe that she is right, if you have a c section is the only time they will do them during delivery. If not it is a completely different thing and you schedule it after having your baby

You may want to double check but I’ve been hearing that they remove tubes now instead of “tying” them.....but also the previous ladies are correct, if it’s vaginal they’ll probably tell you once you heal they will schedule the surgery what if you get a c section it’ll be at the same time.

This is my 4th, I’m 39, yeah I’m done, lol!  I’ve heard about getting tubes removed vs tied.  I haven’t brought up with my midwife yet, I plan to before delivery.

My midwife told me I have to tell the doctor at my 6 week check up after baby and they will arrange appoiment im on baby number 6 had all normal deliery was going to last for a selected c section but midwife advised against it for quicker recovery
