I’ve recently just had a laparoscopy to determine whether I had endometriosis or not and I do have it, all the women in my family have had it and had hysterectomies. I’ve had 2 week off work since my operation because my scars got infected. For some reason I’ve become worse with pain and I’m getting it every single day to the point where i’m bed bound, I’m a health care assistant and I’m scared that it’s really going to affect my job more than it already is. Im scared that I’ll lose my job over it or would that be classed as discrimination? I’m wondering if anyone else has had this problem and knows how to manage it? I have codeine and tramadol not but it’s not very professional when I’m sat there crying not being able to move.
