To take or not to take...Birth Control

Im 37...single, not looking to get prego yet. But my friends in their late 20’s and 30’s

Stopped taking the pill cause they said they don’t wanna mess w their hormones anymore. I joined the bandwagon... started using condoms more during sex (still trying to find the one). My periods make me a hormonal hot mess. I wanna go back on it but am afraid I’m messing w my body. I’ve only been on the pill 10 years ...what would u do?
