Ready?

Question

Two hours of contractions, average of 6 minutes apart, lasting for 50-60 seconds each. Very uncomfortable but not unbearable. This data says I should go into the hospital but I don't want to go until I'm in terrible discomfort continually. Anyone else go through this? 
Went for a 30 min walk downtown with the pups & hubby. #39 weeks, water did not break.

My doctor told me when that happens to take a warm bath, two Tylenol, and drink 3 of the biggest glasses of water I can find. If it gets worse or there is no change, I'm most likely in labor, but to stay home until it's unbearable or my water breaks. Most hospitals will not let you get out of bed once you arrive at the hospital, so it's usually best to labor at home for the early stages. At least that's the advice my doctor gave.

Using an app to time them, luckily I live 8 mins from the hospital. They are 5 mins apart now, so we will head in within the hour.

I'm in a similar boat. Have been laboring at home since midnight. Contractions are 5mins apart but they are still bearable. About to call my Dr. And will prob head in soon unless she says otherwise

If it was me I would get ready to head that way now, maybe take a bath see if it calms down and if it doesn't then head that way. But my last baby came in 5 hours from the first contraction, so things progressed rather quickly.

My contractions were half an hour apart and not painful early morning. Went to the doctors office and they said I'm fine and nit in labor since I was also only 2cm dilated. By early afternoon I was contracting 3 mins apart and super painful. I head to the hospital and my water broke as soon as I arrived.
