When did you tell?

I’m 5w1d pregnant. I have my first sonogram 7w1d. We have told our parents and siblings and a few close friends. 
When did you tell the world? What was your deciding factor for the right time to tell?

Trying to decide that too... 5 weeks 6 days and a previous MC so I am hessitant. We have just been telling people that we know we would want support from even if something goes wrong (close family and friends). I told my immediate supervisor as well, because I am high risk, I will have frequent labs and appointments, and I did not want her to think anything was wrong or I am just skipping out with the now nice weather 😂

5weeks & 1 days as well... told our parents & best friends over the weekend 😊

With my first I told after I heard the heartbeat, around 9 weeks! I think this time I’m gonna try to wait until 12 weeks!

I'm hesitant after 2 MCs...the 2nd one I miscarried around 11weeks and had heard the heartbeat. 
This time I'm waiting, although I'm blowing up so quickly, not sure I'll be able to hide it besides just saying I quit the gym.
It's a personal preference. Do what feels right to you and your SO.

I didn’t tell anyone at all until 8 weeks... at that time I just told my sister and her fiancé. Planning to tell our parents and other siblings at 10 weeks. Social media announcement/more distant family, friends announcement at 12 weeks.
