When do you start brushing your babies teeth?

My dentist said you can start at 6 months and brush the gums to get them used to it. But I waited until 8 months when my son got his first tooth. He’s now 22 months and loves to have his teeth brushed.

As soon as they get their first tooth. But my pediatrician said not to use fluoride toothpaste until a year old. So we use a natural non-fluoride toothpaste, or you can just use water.
