2nd month on The Pill & no period

I had my daughter almost 5 months ago. I'm currently on my second pack of bc pills and I never got my period after my first pack of pills. I used to take them for years and years before we decided to have a baby and never not got my period but I don't remember what it was like when I first started taking them. I did heavily spot the whole first month of taking these pills so I'm almost wondering if my body didn't have any blood in there for a period. Has anyone had a similar issue before?
