Changing the time I take my pill

I have been on the pill for about 4 years now and I’ve always taken it at 9pm. I want to change the time I take it so I don’t have to worry about throwing it up when I drink (as I am almost 21). If I changed to taking my pill at like 3/4pm would that be okay? If so how would I go about doing this ?
