FTM and concerned about bleeding 5 days postpartum.

I’m a FTM and currently 5 days postpartum and am still actively bleeding. As an example (sorry tmi) but this morning while using the bathroom I took my pad off before realizing I didn’t fill up the water bottle to rinse with, so I was doing that and not even 10-15 seconds i was standing at the sink I felt something running down my leg and it was blood running as well as dripping into my panties. I know it’s expected to be bleeding still but to that extent? Is this normal? Again, sorry for the details but I just wanted to be clear what kind of bleeding I was having.
