I'm having a girl and I'm terrified
I'm 34, pregnant with my first and just found out I'm having a girl. I'm terrified. I feel like I'm going to have to be the enforcer, role model and the world is just harder for women. And I feel bad for being apprehensive and wanting a boy.
I always imagined having a boy first to protect the younger siblings. Now I feel like I have to raise a warrior princess to do battle with the world she is coming into. And it's gonna be hard to raise a Nobel prize winning, Ms. America who goes onto be to president and actually bring about world peace.
I know that is over the top. But I'm freaking out a bit. Any kind words or advice?
