Nickname for Lincoln?

My husband and I are leaning towards Lincoln for our boy name. If we called him by a nickname, we're undecided on the spelling of that.

Such a cute name! I Dont know if I would have the balls to do it I feel like in my family a family full of very tradional names.. Stacey, Becky, Jessica, Josh, Jeff you get the point. That they would hate it :(     but I would call him Link!

There's been a couple Links at my kids' daycare. One was short for Lincoln and the other was just Link as far as I could tell!
