Sex after miscarriage?

I had a miscarriage at 6 wks pregnant. Just trying to get some feedback... At what point did you stop bleeding and when were you ready for sex again?

My doctor recommended waiting for conception for 3 months, but we hade sex about 2-3 weeks after the miscarriage!

Well I waited a week to make sure the fetus was fully expelled and we waited until my levels were 0. I conceived 3 weeks later

I was ready for sex pretty quickly, but I felt like I needed the reassurance of intimacy to feel like myself again.  Unless your doctor has said to wait for any reason, have sex when you are ready.
