Diva cup?

Has anyone tried the diva cup or anything like that. I'm interested in switching because I break out from pads and my flow is so heavy I fill the tampons in like 2-3 hrs. I go though at least a box a month plus pantie liners and pads for overnight. ANYWAYS... I like to know is it comfortable. How long did it take u to get used to it. Have u ever had to change it in public. And do u recommend it. I have 2 kids and I'm 27 so I also like to know what u think is the best cup for me. Thanks in advice ladys

In answer to your questions, usually I sort it out in the shower in the mornings and that's enough for the day. Emptying it/cleaning it in a public toilet is awkward - less so if there's a hand basin in the cubicle.

I've been using the diva cup for my last two cycles and I really like it. I used tampons and just like you, went through them in 2-3 hours. On really heavy days I typically remove it and clean it every 4 hours or so. I have done it in public restrooms and it is a bit uncomfortable, I wash my hands before I go in the stall and use toilet paper so I can close the stall door  without touching it. Once in the stall it's pretty tricky to insert again since I don't sit on the toilet. Other than that, there is really no inconvenience. I still wear a panty liner because I'm still learning , even though I hardly see any leaks.
I would totally recommend , but you do have to be very comfortable with your own body because it is all about reaching up in there!

Yes I use a Moon Cup and have done for a few years now. I love it and wouldn't go back. It's very comfortable once you're used to it (although the first time it takes a bit of adjusting until you feel both comfortable and confident it won't leak).

I would also like to ask what,size I'm supposed to get like I said I'm 27 and had 2 kids but by c-section both times. I have read different things on the diva cup and moon cup sites.
