Surgery Day!

Brittani

It’s surgery day! Finally! Laying in pre-op waiting to get knocked out. I have faith God will bring me out this surgery, a brand new woman! I’ll update later ❤️

UPDATE:

- They found Endo on both sides ( I’ll have to wait til my post-op to figure out exactly where it was, but I’m assuming my ovaries. )

- They said it wasn’t terribly bad, maybe stage 1? I’m not sure yet.

- They said I had cups of built up fluid from past ruptured cysts when in reality, you’re only supposed to have 1 or 2 tablespoons. ( According to my doc. )

- I gave them some entertainment when they looked my cyst had ruptured just some time before the surgery, and they got to watch it naturally go down. They said they don’t ever see that. & that it was the most interesting thing 😂

- They said my left tube is perfectly fine, but my right is completely blocked and they were unable to unblock it during that surgery.

I’m not sure where to go from here. Should I have the tubal surgery? I’m starting the Endovan & I’ve already changed my diet. And we’re definitely going to ttc even harder bc this is a good time. But I have a few weeks til then, need time to recover.

My stomach is very swollen, they only made 2 incisions. I was able to urinate afterwards but the shoulder/chest pain from them filling me up with gas, is almost unbearable. My stomach felt like I was having and endo flare up yesterday, today I woke up with worse pain than yesterday.

I’ve been able to drink/eat here and there.

I’m really grateful the doctor believes I should have no problem conceiving. But is there a medicine I can take to help that? Should I get the tubal? There’s a lot going on in my head but the medicine helps me relax. I’m going to take my time recovering. ❤️❤️❤️
