Best straightener for thick, curly hair??

I currently have a CHI, I've had it for about 8 years so it's time for a new one. Just want opinions on the best for my hair type as I'm not planning to get a cheapy. I have THICK, curly, frizzy hair. I want to be able to wear my hair down without it exploding as soon as humidity hits it!

I have wicked think curly hair too and I use BaBylissPRO PRIMA3000. It’s goes up to 475°. I put it on 410°. It gets the curl and frizz right out. You can also use it as a curling iron as well. I got it at Ulta a couple years ago for about $150. 
I was a hairstylist before a stay at home mom and when I worked in the salon we used Paul Mitchell express Ion Smooth and they are pretty amazing as well and they ran about $165ish.
I would definitely suggest those two definitely worth the money.
