vacuum sweepers?

what’s a good vacuum sweeper for carpet? i’ve only lived in houses with hardwood floors. i have a 5 month old baby and 2 dogs that shed badly. so i need a pretty good suction lol i also moves into a rental a house with white carpet. ugh. 
please send me your best cheapest vacuum recommendations!

I second a shark. We’ve have a an actual push vacuum, hand held vacuum, and a robot vacuum all made by shark, and they are AMAZING. First time we tried our push vaccum we vacuumed with an older vaccum that was being replaced, you would not BELIEVE what was pulled up by the shark... I was amazed but also disgusted at the same time.

I say shark also! I’ve had an actual shark vacuum for 5 years and it’s still just as powerful as it was when I first got it. I got the shark ion for Christmas and run it every other day. Their custom service is amazing too! I got the ion and after a month or so it started making this awful noise. I called and they sent me a replacement, and I’ve had no problems with it.

Shark! We bought ours used off Craigslist from a vacuum guy that refurbished them. $20. Best vacuum ever! Will only use sharks from now on 👍😁

I use a Bissel Featherweight on my wood and tile floors and rugs, it isn't great for carpet because it doesn't have a spinning bar but it has good suction and is very inexpensive.
