How to associate my mom’s name into my child’s name?

So my mom’s name is Godiva (God-iv-uh) and I want to in some way honor her by naming my child after her. Although, I don’t want her first name to be Godiva because my mom got bullied quite a bit for her name. I thought of maybe making it the middle name? What do you guys think?

You could use it as a middle name or just use Iva maybe? If I ever have a girl we will use Beth short for Elizabeth. After my husbands mother whos passed.

My dads name is Livingstone and he begged me not to use it bc he got so severely bullied as a child. So I called my son Levi to honour him AND his request. You could do similar? Call your daughter Eva or Iva? Or use it as a middle name like my brother did with his new baby
