Coparenting

Y’all who have healthy coparenting relationships I admire. God this woman makes my blood boil. Never calls her two daughters but always has an excuse for not calling when she does call:

Unfortunately the one call she did make in the last two or three weeks happened to come when they’re at my moms for spring break since this pregnancy has been hard on me. Sometimes it’s one call a month and she only gets them once a year. So I text her saying they’ll be home tomorrow but they’re not here. Her response, “sorry I haven’t called, I’ve had strep.” FOR THREE WEEKS? I TAKE CARE IF YOUR, scratch, MY KIDS WHEN I’M SICK AND WHEN THEY ARE SICK. MY FAMILY TAKES CARE OF THEM WHEN THEY ARE SICK. But because you’re sick you can’t talk to them for five minutes? You’re a parent!!! And you keep saying you want them back. You should’ve never abandoned them while your ex was deployed and moved across country.
