Should I be worried??

So I am genuinely scared... is this an okay gpa for a high school freshman? My school goes by tris so my first tri mine was 3.300 and in tri 2 it’s 3.133??? Is this ok? I know I still have 3 more years it’s just I have heard that it’s really good if you start out with a really good gpa. What do I do, should I be stressing?

That's pretty good! It's average though. It really depends on what college you want to attend. I'd strive for 3.6-3.7.

That’s pretty good. I’m not sure if your classes are weighted (as in say harder classes are “worth” more and it goes beyond a 4.0 being the best), but for most schools as long as you’re above a 3.0 you’re good! On a non weighted scale for most high schools it goes: 2.0-2.49= D, 2.5-2.99=C, 3.0-3.49=B, 3.5-4.0=A. So if your school goes by that scale, then you still have B average which is really good. You’re doing just fine! Ask your guidance counselors if your GPA is weighted and to see their exact GPA scale to fully know what you have. Hopefully it doesn’t vary much from the information I just gave you! But I think you’re doing fine!!

It’d be cool to start off with a high gpa but a) its not a requirement and b) that means that it can only go down from there. You have your last trimester of your freshman year and 3 more years to build your gpa up. This is a good gpa

That is definitely not bad!! I had a 3.2 at the end of freshman year and now as a junior I have a 3.5. Just do the best you can in your classes so you won’t have to worry as much later on👍🏼
