Period then pregnant?!

We have been trying to get pregnant for a few months. In March I thought for sure I was pregnant but then got my period on time and it was heavy the 1st 2 days then lighter the next 2 days then it was over (like normal). Well, at this same time I was also really sick with diarrhea from my kids (for 2 straight days) After getting over the tummy bug I still felt off. So even though I just got done with my period, I took a test and to my shock it was POSITIVE. I didn't know what to think. I called the hospital for advice, they didn't think it was implantation bleeding since I had a heavy flow. I was naturally worried I got a positive test due to miscarriage but she said to keep testing and see what it says. I normally would've gotten blood work done but we don't have health insurance til end of April with my hubbs new job. So now here we are 2 weeks later, still getting positive urine tests, feeling pretty good and in shock that I got a "period" but am pregnant?! Praise our good Lord. Anyone else get a "period " but actually pregnant???
