This could be a product of your past. I had a very abusive father who hurt me emotionally, physically, sexually, and mentally. I carried this into my first relationship and was constantly thinking he was going to up and leave, or was completely faking it. If you two have been together for a year or less you may find the feelings pass over time. That's what happened for me.
