For traveling or a staycation, Which do you prefer?

I prefer hotel. I like to not have to think about anything when on holiday, not what to cook, not when to clean, nothing.

I like the uniformity of standards in hotels. We've stayed in Airbnb 3 times and they were ok experiences, 1 being excellent, one being miserable and one being average.

Every time I’ve looked at air bnb there’s been all these hidden fees. Not paying $150-200 a night plus a $100 cleaning fee.

Hotel. Everything about Airbnb makes me nervous because it's not really regulated. As far as I know there's not really any industry standards, so you really never know what you're going to get.
Also, hotels have room service. I can't complain about someone coming in and making my bed for me every day.

Be careful with airbnb.... There's been a LOT of drama about them videotaping people, charging huge amounts for damages that never occurred, canceling at the last minute, etc. Check reviews and do your research if that's the route you go.

We just did an Airbnb last week in Miami and I would’ve much rather used our Marriott discount for a room at the Marriott. 
It was nice but we dealt with so much for the price. I’ll stick to hotels next time around.

We prefer renting condos over hotels. Saves money, more group time with whoever we go with. More comfortable etc. It is also difficult to find hotels with a marina.

Just me or me and my friends? Hostel. Traveling with my family or boyfriend? Airbnb. The only time I stay in a hotel is if there aren’t hostels and Airbnb isn’t available/is more expensive
