Baby Shower planning yet?!

Now that we’ve told our closet friends and family, ppl have been asking about when the baby shower will be. Have any of you decided on around when?  I am due Oct 13, and one of my best friends is getting married Sept 1 and my husbands bday is Sept 4... should we have it in Aug or after his bday?!

We just threw my sister a shower at 35 weeks and she was happy but really swollen and uncomfortable by the end of it. I’m due October 19 and now that I’ve seen how she felt, I wouldn’t want anyone to throw me a shower later than August. Just something to keep in mind!

July or August. Any later and you’ll be miserable trying to organize and put things away. I had my baby shower with my first at 35 weeks. Huge mistake.

Family has asked just so people can get organized. Due Oct 6. I said anytime late July - early Aug is best. Scheduled CSection probably last week of Sept and I don’t want to be driving around so late in pregnancy (2.5 hour drive to family).

Doesn’t sound like mine is a popular thought, but I won’t be having a baby shower until after the baby comes. I want my friends and family to meet the baby they are blessing with gifts, not just rub my bump. Lol My sister has small kids so I will be getting some essentials from her and will buy a few others before baby comes. 
With you wanting one early, I think August would work- not too early or too late.
