Alternatives to ranitidine (Zantac)?
I plan on asking about this at my appointment next week but thought I’d seek some experiences as well.
I’m 32 weeks. My heartburn and acid reflux are next level and getting worse all the time. I have been taking generic ranitidine (same as Zantac) twice a day which is the max that’s recommended. It’s just not cutting it and I think it might be making me constipated too. The only other thing that seems to help is milk (temporarily of course). Tums and papaya enzymes are also extremely temporary help and I’m nervous that I shouldn’t be taking all these at once. Anyone have any suggestions?
