Anyone NOT finding out the gender until birth?

Hubs and I have decided that since #5 was a complete surprise (on bc) that we will keep the surprise going until little one arrives! Our four girls hate the idea bc they want to know 😂 Buut we’re loving the bonding it’s doing for our relationship and messing with the kids haha

I am pregnant with my third and never found out with my first two. It makes it much more fun exciting for me and for my whole family who are just dying to know. My sister also gets annoyed with me because she’s an anal planner and she gets frustrated planning baby showers around my mystery babies. I think the fact it annoys people makes it even more fun for me!!!

This is our third. We have no baby clothes or anything saved from our previous kids. Just a car seat. But we’re waiting until birth. It helps to cut down on gender disappointment for the kids (my daughter wants a sister so bad). I figure if she just needs a baby, it’ll be hard for her not to love it, even if it’s a boy. Plus, preparing clothes wise isn’t necessary in my mind. Babies spit up and get everything dirty in the beginning so it doesn’t really matter what they wear the first few days or so

I would like for it to remain a surprise until birth (we have four boys) but my husband said he can’t wait that long lol. We’ll be finding out next week if #5 is another boy or if for some odd reason we’re having a girl 🤷🏼‍♀️

I have 5 others. We find out because we need to be prepared, and I need to be able to prepare my kids. Especially since they room share. We need to know so we can move things and get everything in order. I’m usually pretty wore out after birth due to my hormones adjusting. Plus throw a new baby in the mix of our normal, crazy everyday life... It’s just what has always worked for us. I wanted #3 to be a surprise but my husbands wanted to know. It worked out for the best because we needed up making a big move a month before he was born. It was nice being prepared.

I think i will do this with my last baby, so next one I have after this will also be number 5, and I think it would be a fun way to end the childbearing portion of my life with a big surprise 😁 but this one and all the ones prior I HAVE to know!
