Venting. So baby is 5 months now and we still have weekly visits from our in-laws and I'm over it. I get they are excited as it is their first grand baby but is it necessary to see us every week/sometimes twice a week?

My baby is also not a fan of my mil (she literally cries when she looks at her and she cannot hold her) so it is super annoying and frustrating.

They also always want to come at like 6 at night? Which is annoying and you would think they got the hint when we always ask to come around 4 or earlier (if it is on the weekend).

We see my family maybe once every other week (but we do talk a lot).

I like my own space (always have) so it's a lot to still be having visitors for me. Plus if we were to be bouncing around house to house (or having people over) between everyone combined I would have no life!!

Anyways when did the weekly visit die down for you?
