How many ounces??

I’m trying to build my freezer supply and am wondering how many ounces I should be making each bottle.. I have so far mostly 3 ounce bags with some 4 and 5 ounce. My baby is EBF so I have no idea how much she’s taking in

My daughter is 11 months old and has never taken more than 4oz in a bottle. I was told breastfed babies should never get more than 4oz in a single feeding because it stretches their stomach. It’s very easy to overfeed when using a bottle.

1 to 1.5 oz per hour, so if they fed every 3 hours. Between 3 and 4.5 etc

I filled the 6 oz bags till I could barely close the seal (like 8 oz) and id just take a bag out and defrost it in the fridge and when its completely melted I’ll pour it into a big bottle in the fridge then pour into a smaller bottle each feeding. My 3 month old only eats about 2-3 oz a feeding

I freeze what I feel like. I have a .75 oz bag (probably dumb I know) that I have frozen because you just never know when you’ll need to “top them off” just needed a tiny bit more. Lol but I freeze mostly 3-6oz bags

Mine always eats around 4.5oz sometimes 5. I freeze 5oz bags. At first I was doing 3oz and I realized I was having to thaw 2 bags and half of the other was going to waste. I’d wait until you see what amount they eat consistently. 
The amount of Bm he’s needed has never increased over 6 months.

My son takes 5oz at 3 months. I had always read no more than 3 or 4 oz a feeding but my sons pediatrician said that’s not the case. My son was not gaining enough weight so he told us to add 1 to 2 ounces to his age and then it caps off at 8oz. I would definitely consult with your pediatrician because there is a lot of misinformation and what works for someone’s child might not work for yours.

I never freeze more than a 4 ounce bag, if I do it seems to go to waste. I make a lot of 1-3 ounce bags so I can mix them together if he's still hungry.
