Somebody please explain!

So I just started seeing a new OB, and I have an appointment next Wednesday to do a nurse assessment and some bloodwork to see when they can give me an ultrasound. So I asked when I could come in for my next blood draw, and they only do those if something happened like bleeding or pain.. they don’t do HCG quant counts just to see if my HCG is going up... so what I’m wondering is how you ladies are doing 2-4 blood draws to check your levels every few days-a week? Is it just a South Carolina thing that my doctor doesn’t do that?
