Has anyone else suffered from a placenta abruption? If so leave your NICU stories below I want to read them! My sweet princess was born a week ago and we suffered from one. So far my baby has made MIRACLE progress considering we were told she had a high chance of not ever coming home since she came out white, cold, not breathing and without a pulse it took 15 minutes of chest compressions to bring her back, 4 blood transfusions, 3 platelet transfusions, 4 clotting protein transfusions😭. In just 7 days my baby has gone off her ventilator, no more CPAP or Oxygen, she’s now taking a few sucks from a bottle and her MRI shows a very tiny brain injury in the left hemisphere which may effect her motor skills but nothing that can’t be rewired with occupational or physical therapy and even that has not been determined if she will need it!!!!
