Posting here for UK advice cos i know if i asked in a group with americans they'll give me all sorts of stupid info and say they put their newborns in the shower🙄🙄

So im due in a couple weeks and thinking about how i know nothing about bathing my baby. Ive looked at some videos and googled and i know about "top and tailing" and then the usual bath

So after having the baby, when would you normally give the first bath? How many days?

Next question is, is that a top and tail i give or a bath? And how many times a week do i do both or do i alternate? Or a certain number of baths and then top and tail on some days?

And lastly how do you give your baths? Cotton pads on eyes and face while out of bath and then shot them in the bath to do body or do you not bother with cotton padding their face and neck just eyes only??

What products do you use?

How do you wash the hair?

Do you top and tail every day except bath days??
