What size clothes should I buy for my son?

He’s 8 months old, current in 12 month clothes. 
I’m buying clothes for him, but I don’t want to buy 12 months if he’s going to grow out of them like the others.. 
First baby so I’m not sure! Lol
 
The shirts are 12 months.

He’s gonna grow out of any size eventually. Its best to get whatever fits him now. Clothes that are too small obviously aren’t going to be comfortable and clothes that are too big could be a suffocation or strangulation risk because of the extra fabric

Just donate his clothes when he grows out of them unless you're planning on having more children. That way you don't feel like they're just going to waste.

Unfortunately babies grow so quickly out of all sizes the first year to 2 years. If you're wanting to buy ahead, for another season maybe then you can buy the next size. The 12 month looks like they fit him well so if youre buying for right now.. I would buy 12-18 month
