Is this normal?

Is this even normal? I've seen a lot of bump pics on here of ladies around where I am that have totally flat tummies or cute little tiny bumps. I've already gained 10 lbs. am I going to be humongous :(

I have to sigh when I hear people fretting about gaining weight. I'm 20 weeks and now +30 lbs. I'm getting my nutritional needs met and my midwife isn't concerned. And I don't look bad either, if I can say so myself! Let yourself off the hook. Your body is going to do its thing regardless of your opinion on the matter :-)

I have a bigger bump, and my doc said it depends on how long your torso is.  Mamas with longer torsos have more space for the baby to be "tucked" into.  Smaller torso means baby sticks out more.  It made me feel better!! Also means baby is healthy and growing!!! Good luck with your adorable bump :)

I feel the same way! My belly seems giant compared to the pics I see on here. This is my first baby and people always say your first takes longer to show. Not me! Thanks for sharing... It's nice to not feel alone:)

I'm the same as you! And at 16 weeks I had gained 10 lbs also. I'll be 18 weeks tomorrow, and I'm sure I've gained another pound or two.

I feel the total opposite! I'm 20 weeks and barely showing at all.

But, to make you feel better, my doctor said its totally normal to be any size at any pregnancy, it all just depends on the pregnancy itself, body type, and even height. He said he would consider my bump normal, just like he would consider a woman with a large bump normal too, it's really all just depends bit normally isn't anything to worry about.

Every woman is different and will gain more weight in some weeks and less in others. I also gained 10lbs in the first 16 weeks, but have not gained anymore from week 16 to 18. I figure I've kind of "leveled off" for the time being until baby grows significantly larger.

This picture is almost 2 weeks old, I need to update.  But your not alone or abnormal by any means.  Like one commenter said I have a short torso so I started to round out pretty quickly

I've gained 13 pounds and I'm small so I feel like my body changed so quickly and in the beginning I couldn't eat healthy all I wanted was junk. I feel like I pretty much look the same except my stomach and butt and thigh area oh and my already big boobs grew too 😭

Some people show earlier than others :) I could tell a difference in my belly very early!
