FINGER INFECTED?!? HELP!!!!!

I noticed this morning that my 8 month old daughters finger (near the cuticle) was red, warm, and looked like a little puss blister. She doesn’t seem horribly bothered by it, but I’m concerned. We are planning a long weekend trip to the Bahamas tomorrow. Should I be concerned? What should I do??!

My son had this a couple times. We used a sterile needle & just pricked it & let it drain. Washed with mild soap & kept it clean. It was gone within a few days. It will hurt but only for a moment (like a shot if you will) it feels instantly better for them once the pus drains.

Soak in warm salt water. Don’t prick it with a needle as this can cause more infection. Soaking in the salt water will help draw out infection.

My finger was like this the other day. We also pricked with a needle and let it drain.  Washed with soap. It was gone in about 2 days.
