Suggestions for Pregnancy Workouts???
Hi! I’m 9w pregnant today and am planning on resuming my workouts 🏋️♀️ once my severe morning sickness has passed 🤞🏻
But now I’m not sure what workouts I should do since I’m relatively new to weight lifting. I’ve been lifting 2-3 days/week and doing cardio and classes in between for the past 5 months (prior to finding out I was pregnant). I’m now losing muscle from being lethargic and nauseous and am feeling discouraged not knowing what is healthy to resume.
Can any mothers who were or are working out during their pregnancies maybe help give me a weekly routine I can do that incorporates weights? I’m not talking body building style, obviously, but just safe, general workouts that will keep me fit throughout my pregnancy? Maybe you can share things you’ve done or learned? I want this pregnancy to be healthy and I know being an older mother, it’s going to be harder to lose what weight I do gain.
