TTC with endometriosis

Okay ladies, I'm new to this app. I was surgically diagnosed with endometriosis 4 years ago. My boyfriend and I our ttc, so far it's been roughly 5 months. In August I had laparoscopic surgery. My doctor said that having the surgery has giving us a higher chance to conceive for about 3-6 months, and also said that he could put me on clomid. So my question is, is there anyone that has taking this medicine and if so what are you thoughts about it? What should my concerns be? I have read up on it, but would like personal feedback.
