I'm new to this, but why do people put their rings on the tests?

You should have already been BD. It increases the chance of fertilization if sperm is already in your cervix when you ovulate. Sperm can last a few days in your cervix so the 2 days before ovulation are the most important.

Yes. :) I've read that you ovulate 12-36 hours after your LH surge so tonight and tomorrow night :)
