Difficult decision...

So I'm almost 35 weeks pregnant and I've been living at my mother's house for a few months now due to a terrible situation at my last apartment. I've been panicking trying to find a place before baby is here because it's me, my two dogs and my fiance all living in one room...so not ideal for a baby. However I'm also in another predicament with my car as it's not going down the safest route. It's old and has quiet a few problems that keep popping up, I'm not sure how long it will last honestly. I'm torn between making a decision on using what money I have for a place we haven't even found yet in our budget or getting a safer car...my mother keeps telling me I need to use my money for a car and tell my fiance he needs to save up everything to provide a place for us. But I'm pretty sure that could take well after the baby's born. He's a car salesman and income is never truly reliable...I just needed some out put from an outside source as all of this has been so overwhelming to me , I can hardly breathe...
